Oxbow Outfitters and Colorado fishing guides was a destination fly shop and guide service for fourteen years in Aspen and Snowmass Colorado. We had some good years and made a lot of friends, but life requires us to retrace our footsteps now and then, which is why I've returned exclusively to the quiet game of guided fly fishing in Colorado. I've been at it for a while and it's what I know best.

As the author of this web site and therefore this short autobiography, it's awkward sitting here paying myself the compliment of experience and wisdom, especially since I look forward to each new day and fisherperson in my charge as a learning experience in its own right.
